                             &
                             Pageant

The Juneteenth Educational Leadership Scholarship & Pageant, established in 2021 by Ms. Sharon Fraiser and Dr. Cereta, aims to support students in their educational pursuits. This scholarship is designed to assist with the financial needs of individuals entering, college, trade school, or continuing their current studies. By providing these resources, we empower the next generation of leaders to achieve their academic goals and realize full potential.

The Juneteenth Committee proudly partners with schools in the Allentown School District and Charter Schools to educate students in 6-12 about the rich history and significance of Juneteenth. Each year, we host an essay contest that invites to explore the meaning and legacy of this important holiday. After careful consideration, we select a King and Queen from the submissions, celebrating their achievements. Over the years, Juneteenth has awarded thousands of dollars to students in the City of Allentown to support their educational journeys.
